During my stay at Desolation Sound Resort, the view from our cottage overlooking the water was undeniably spectacular. Although the weather prevented us from fully enjoying the deck, the promise of relaxing outside on a warm day was enticing. The rustic yet cosy interior of the cottage provided a comfortable retreat amidst the Canadian wilderness.The location amid the trees offered seclusion, making our unit feel incredibly private. The inclusion of a deck with a barbecue was a nice touch for evening meals. The resort's proximity to Lund for delectable cinnamon buns and a walking distance restaurant, the Laughing Oyster, added to its allure.The resort's provision of kayaks and canoes for exploration, along with well-equipped and clean kitchen facilities, elevated the stay. The variety of cabins, each unique in features, offered a communal yet individualistic experience for guests.While some cabins may not be suitable for those with restricted mobility, the overall tranquility and amenities provided a balanced blend of value and luxury. For those seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature's beauty, Desolation Sound Resort offers a serene escape worth considering.
